A life lesson

a life lesson

A pious man talked to God and said:
– God, I want to know what it’s like in Heaven and in Hell.
God led him to two doors.
He opened one of the doors and the man looked inside.
In the middle of the room was a large round table.
On the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled very good and it was mouthwatering.
But the people who were sitting at the table were very thin and looked sick and hungry.
They were holding spoons with very long handles that were tied to their arms and thus they could reach the vessel to fill the spoons with stew but due to the longer than arms handles, they could not lead the spoonfuls to their mouth.

The pious man was shuddered at the sight of their suffering.
Then God said, “Now you have seen Hell”
Then they went to open the other room which looked like the first one.
There was a large round table with the large pot of stew which was mouthwatering.
The people at the table were equipped with the same kind of spoons but they seemed well fed and plump, laughing and talking among themselves.
Pious man said, “I don’t understand” …
“It’s very simple,” said God. “It takes skill though. These healthy people have learned to feed each other, while others were thinking only of themselves.”

Dumnezeu l-a condus pe om catre doua usi.
A deschis una dintre usi iar omul a privit inauntru.
In mijlocul incaperii se afla o mare masa rotunda.
Atunci Dumnezeu a spus: “Acum ai vazut Iadul”
